| 11-5 Win by Grays Continues Hot Start | The Georgia Grays beat the Quebec Armada, 11-5, at Lucky 7 Ballpark. The win was largely due to the efforts of center fielder Shigeaki Yoshida, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2-4 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Georgia reliever Yukihiro Nakamoto picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Xavier Maya absorbed the loss. Georgia is off to a hot start at 7-3.
Mario Tovar, who is a two-time All-Star, chipped in for Georgia with a 2-run home run in the top of the first. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
