| Duran scores 3 runs, Diamonds Move to 2-0 | Tunica shortstop Antonio Duran had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Scottsdale Scorpions, 9-1. Ricardo Cardoso got the win, improving to 1-0. He held the Scorpions to 1 earned run on 5 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 13 and walking 5. The Diamonds, now 2-0, have been playing some good baseball.
One important at-bat for Tunica came with one out in the top of the ninth inning. With the bases loaded, Duran hit a grand slam, which contributed to the Diamonds win.
