Multi-HR Game for Simmon in 4-2 Win

Cabo San Lucas and Bloomington duked it out at Arson Arena and the Toreros came out victorious.

The Cabo San Lucas Toreros beat the Bloomington Blazers, 4-2, at Arson Arena. The win was largely due to the efforts of first baseman Terry Simmon, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Cabo San Lucas is off to a hot start at 6-3.

Simmon had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 0-2 fastball from Joey Steamer, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Toreros a 3-2 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Simmon.

"It was a solid team effort," said Simmon after the game.
