| Blazers Solve Pioneers, 6-3 | Fernando Franco made an impact in the 6-3 Bloomington win over Vancouver. Franco went 2-5 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Bloomington reliever Juan Figueroa picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-2. Travis Panhorst was collared with the loss. Shichiro Iba notched his 9th save in 10 chances.
Franco had a key at-bat for Bloomington early in the game. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and gave Bloomington an early 3-0 lead.
