| Grays Bang Out 6-3 Win Versus Eureka | The Georgia Grays defeated the Eureka Hornets, 6-3, in Thurman Munson League action at The Death Star, with Georgia pitcher Juan Lucero named player of the game. The Grays bumped their record to 54-32 with this latest triumph.
The Grays got a big at-bat from shortstop Luiz Lopez. For the game, Lopez went 1 for 4 with a double. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 20th double of the season gave Georgia a 1-0 lead.
Lucero called the triumph "a good team win."
