Nicholson Slams 5 Hits for Hawaii

Frank Nicholson was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at Blue Ivy Stadium, the Hawaii first baseman blistered the Brooklyn Black Knights for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a 6-5 victory.

"Nicholson was too tough to get out today," Black Knights skipper Tim Duncan said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."

Frank Nicholson hit an RBI single in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
