Norris Goes Wild, But Lancers Win

The Canby Lancers had to overcome a big game from George Washington first baseman Ben Norris to leave Ballpark of Villahermosa HS with a 13-11 victory. Norris went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. The winner was Canby reliever Ken Merrick, now 1-0. The loser was Justin Pardue. Mike Mather notched his 12th save in 14 chances.
