| Panthers Prevail, 7-6, Over Carl Albert | Both teams had their chances, but the Pitman High Panthers eventually prevailed at Batfish Ballpark.
The Pitman High Panthers did just enough to sneak past the Carl Albert Titans, 7-6, at Batfish Ballpark. Pitman High second baseman Zion Crockett earned player of the game honors. The 5th-place Panthers improved to 29-36.
The Panthers got a big at-bat from center fielder Brent Stump. For the game, Stump was 2-5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 6th double of the season gave Pitman High a 2-0 lead.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Crockett.
