| Conlon Stars for Park in 12-5 Win | The College Park bested the Pitman High Panthers, 12-5, at Swamp Foxes Stadium. Jason Conlon was named player of the game. He was 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The winner was Ryan Lambert in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Richard Schwarzer took the loss. With the victory, the Park record now stands at 36-27.
Conlon had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 0-1 fastball from Richard Schwarzer, he banged a 2-run double to left, giving the Park a 6-5 lead. It was the 10th double of the year for Conlon.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Conlon told the College Daily News.
