| Humphries Delivers Walk-Off Win for Titans | The Carl Albert Titans finished things off in style today at Zebras Ballpark.
The Riverside Poly got a superb performance from catcher Jim Hartman. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Carl Albert. The Titans won the game, 7-6. In spite of the loss, Hartman was named the player of the game. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The Poly, now 29-33, have lost 5 in a row.
Bill Humphries was the walk-off hero for Carl Albert. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Titans designated hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Humphries said.
