Kehoe Helps Canby Cruise to 11-3 Win

The 2038 season is getting ugly for Santa Clara.

Canby left fielder Kevin Kehoe made his presence felt in the 11-3 Lancers triumph over the Santa Clara Vampires. Kehoe hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5. The Lancers bumped their record to 31-29 with this latest triumph.

The Lancers beat the Vampires in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Joel Summers produced in the bottom of the sixth. Batting against Santa Clara pitcher Jared Quintela, Summers gave his team a 3-2 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Kehoe.
