The Santa Clara Vampires downed the Canby Lancers, 6-4, at Ballpark of Villahermosa HS. Brad Adkins led the way, going 2-for-4 for Santa Clara. This loss makes it 7 in a row for Canby.

Adkins had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a 2-run double. The Vampires went on to win.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Adkins told the Santa Clara Daily.
