| Multi-HR Game for Brown in 6-1 Win | The Topeka West Chargers dealt the Downsview Mustangs a 6-1 loss at Visigoths Stadium. Nolan Brown was the star on offense. He went 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The Chargers bumped their record to 28-27 with this latest triumph.
When the Chargers needed a boost, it was the light-hitting Brown who delivered. Facing Downsview pitcher Dan Drew the top of the fifth with runners on 1st and 3rd, Brown hit his 6th home run of the year. It made the score 4-0.
Brown attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
