| Golden Bears Win at Francis Lewis, 7-6 | The Billings West Golden Bears picked up a win at Ottawa HS Grounds, knocking off the Francis Lewis Patriots, 7-6. Starting pitcher Tim Hash, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. In 7 innings, Hash surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 0. He allowed 3 runs. The save was Greg Rose's, his 13th.
The Golden Bears got a big at-bat from catcher Andy Dunn. For the game, Dunn was 3 for 4 with a triple and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 12th double of the season gave Billings West a 2-0 lead.
Dunn told a Billings West Today reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
At 32-22, the Golden Bears have a slim two-game lead in the Pete Rose League Alex Rodriguez Division.
