| Park Stay Hot With 8-2 Win | The College Park just keep winning.
The College Park topped the Riverside Poly, 8-2, with right fielder Pat Bates playing a big role. Bates was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Park in the win. Brian Jenner got the win, improving to 3-4. He held the Poly to 2 earned runs on 5 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 5.
George Bell Jr., who leads the HAL in RBI with 64, helped out the College cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a bases-clearing double. For the game, the center fielder went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs.
"We're stringing together some nice wins," said College manager Franck Devos.
College has now won 13 games in a row.
