| Adamson goes 4-for-5 as Tigers Squeeze Past George Washington | Tioga Central and George Washington slugged it out at Alleycats Ballpark.
Tioga Central designated hitter Tim Adamson was a significant contributor in his team's 12-11 triumph over the George Washington Patriots. He went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for Tioga Central. The Tigers bumped their record to 30-23 with this latest triumph.
Early in the game, shortstop Hector Cruz had a run-scoring single for Tioga Central. It was his 84th hit of the season and put the Tigers on top, 4-3.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Tioga Central manager Gabriel McKinnes.
