| Lucio Leads Charge, College Blasts Poly | Park second baseman Nelson Lucio put his stamp on his team's 13-3 win over the Riverside Poly. Lucio was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once for College in the contest. College starter Glenn Kaczynski was credited with the win after throwing 119 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 3-0. Kenny Wangsness closed it out for his 2nd save.
George Bell Jr., who leads the HAL with a .408 batting average, contributed to the College win with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 4 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Park manager Franck Devos, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
The winning continues for College, with the latest making it 11 straight.
