| Lions Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win | Billings West got a terrific game from second baseman Gary Tyler. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Lerna, 6-5. Tyler was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and 3 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Lerna has now won 3 in a row.
This game was not decided until late. With two out in the top of the 11th, David Nawrocki drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Lions took the lead, 6-5.
"This kind of game is tough on the heart," said winning manager Nick Riddick.
