The Jefferson Indians went home winners at Silvertips Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Vida Blue Jr.. Blue Jr. silenced the San Marin Mustangs, enabling Jefferson to grab the 7-0 win. In 7.1 innings, Blue Jr. surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. The Indians sit in last place in the Hank Aaron League Willie Mays Division with a record of 22-29.
