| Navigators Get One-Run Win at Enterprise | The Norwich Navigators did just enough to secure a 3-2 victory over the Enterprise Hornets at Oranges Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Seth Shepard, who captured player of the game honors. In 5.1 innings, Shepard surrendered 1 hit, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. Chris Sea sewed up the save, his 6th.
Mike Royce, who is the 2nd-best prospect in the Navigators organization, helped out the Norwich cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 4.
"I was a little disappointed," said Enterprise manager Yassin Flament. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
Norwich has now won 3 straight, while the Hornets have lost 3 in a row.
