Gregg, now 6-5, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 3, and allowing 1 earned run. Norwich goes to 22-28, Enterprise to 23-27.
It could have been a different outcome for Norwich, had it not been for Ichiyo Inaba, the 15-year old left fielder . Inaba contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth inning to put Norwich up, 2-0.
"Feels good to get the job done," Inaba said after the game.
