| Warhawks Win at Kearny High, 12-2 | The Seminole Warhawks used an offensive barrage to beat the Kearny High Cardinals, 12-2, at Loggers Ballpark. Jay Peterson led the way, going 2-for-4 for Seminole. Henry Bonnar got the win, improving to 7-1. He worked 7 innings, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 6. The second-place Warhawks now have a win-loss record of 29-20.
Seminole needed the clutch hitting of Jayden Hall to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Warhawks on top, 5-2. For the game, Hall had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We'll keep our chins up and get ready for the next game," said losing manager Seth Richert.
