| Hornets Score Late to Upend Islanders, 7-4 | The Enterprise Hornets beat the Grand Island Islanders, 7-4, at Ballpark of Morelia HS. The Hornets got a fine performance from center fielder Ricardo Trujillo, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Ken Rudolph nailed down his 9th save. Enterprise, now 23-25, holds 4th place in the Hank Aaron League Willie Mays Division.
Danny McCollum was 1 for 3 with a hit by pitch for Enterprise. The 15-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch off Ricky Ortega. It was his 31st RBI of the season.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Trujillo.
