| Victory Pushes Grays Record to 52-32 | The Georgia Grays topped the Quebec Armada, 4-1, with left fielder German Salazar playing a big role. Salazar was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Grays in the win. Joe Kearns got the save, his 23rd in 26 chances. The Grays have an impressive 52-32 record.
Salazar had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-0 fastball from Luis Mendez, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Grays a 3-1 lead. It was the 21st home run of the year for Salazar.
"I like our moxie," said Grays manager Ánibal Machado.
