| Victory Pushes Patriots Record to 33-13 | The George Washington Patriots picked up a win at Osprey Ballpark, knocking off the Riverside Poly, 6-3. On the mound for George Washington was left-hander Jaden Levingston, who played a pivotal role in the win. George Washington leads the Pete Rose League Roger Clemens Division by 5½ games.
The Patriots got a big at-bat from left fielder Gilbert Watkins. For the game, Watkins was 1-4 with a home run and a walk. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 10th home run of the season gave George Washington a 1-0 lead.
"Every win gets us closer to our ultimate goal," said Watkins.
