CFL's #1 Pitcher is Ruiz Tuesday, October 10th, 2034 Tony Ruiz had a sensational 2034 season in the Cecil Fielder League and today the Wichita reliever was proclaimed this year's Cy Young Award recipient. Ruiz recorded no saves in no relief appearances, struck out 142 in 92 innings and posted a record of 6 wins and 2 losses to go with his 2.93 ERA. Tony Aaron of the St. Paul Grognards finished second in voting, while David Benitez of the Wichita Storm finished third. |
