Postseason Bid Ends for El Paso Monday, September 4th, 2034 It wasn't meant to be for the El Paso Bomberos this year. Despite a tough battle, they were eliminated from playoff contention today. "It is a bad feeling," said Bomberos starting pitcher Mike Sapienza. "Once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. But you've gotta get in there first, and we weren't able to do that." The Bomberos are still searching for their first playoff appearance. They haven't made the playoffs in all 4 years of their history. |
