O'Shields and Olson Suspended, Out 7 Games Sunday, August 27th, 2034 There was a heated confrontation yesterday at The Thunderdome between the Grognards and Bombers that resulted in ejections and suspensions. Devon O'Shields of St. Paul and Ross Olson of Panana City were issued 7-game suspensions by the league office for initiating the on-field disturbance. In 37 games O'Shields is hitting .298 this season with 42 hits, 7 home runs, 18 RBIs, 7 walks, .340 OBP and has scored 19 runs. For the year, Olson has collected no saves in 4 relief appearances. He has also rung up 36 strikeouts and 16 walks in 36 innings while registering a 9.00 ERA and a 1-1 won-lost mark. |
