Season-Ending Injury for Mike Anderson
Tuesday, August 22nd, 2034
Mike Anderson of the Cyclones just might have to call it quits for the season. The 21-year-old Brooklyn starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Tunica Diamonds recently at Vin Scully Park. Anderson suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch. The Cyclones medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 12 months.
Anderson has made 9 starts, tossed 66.1 innings, struck out 62 batters and walked 15. His record is 2-4 with a 4.34 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .266 batting average.
