Victoria Comes up Empty Against Benitez Monday, August 7th, 2034 David Benitez subdued the Victoria Totems, 8-0, pitching a 3-hit gem for the Wichita Storm at The Storm Center. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Wichita skipper Cliff Moon said afterward. Benitez registered 11 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in his superb performance. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Victoria manager Keiji Jouon after the defeat.
