Brooklyn Comes up Empty Against Castillo Monday, August 7th, 2034 Luis Castillo subdued the Brooklyn Cyclones, 3-0, pitching a 2-hit gem for the Santa Barbara Suenos at Dream Park. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Santa Barbara skipper Jacob Carlson said afterward. Castillo registered 8 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in his superb performance. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Brooklyn manager Alex Romero after the defeat. Castillo has posted a 2-4 record for the year with a 5.40 ERA.
