The 20-year-old Montreal Cardinals right fielder nabbed Cecil Fielder League Player of the Week honors today after beating up on opposing pitchers all last week. Vega's hot streak featured 10 hits in 17 at-bats, 1 home run, 4 RBIs, 4 runs scored and a .588 average. Vega is hitting .415 this season with 12 home runs, 37 RBIs and 35 runs scored.
