Welborn Gives Rockville Goose Eggs Monday, July 31st, 2034 Andrew Welborn kept the Rockville Rangers hitters off balance all game long as the Brooklyn Cyclones pitcher blanked the Rangers, 3-0. Welborn gave up 5 hits, struck out 5 and walked 3. In the postgame press conference, the left-hander was reluctant to talk about the outing at length. "It was a nice win in a long season," he said. "I don't want to dwell too much on it." Up to now Welborn has compiled an ERA of 1.51 with a 5-0 mark over 6 starts.
