McCrudden Gives St. Paul Goose Eggs Monday, July 31st, 2034 Dave McCrudden kept the St. Paul Grognards hitters off balance all game long as the Wichita Storm pitcher blanked the Grognards, 2-0. McCrudden gave up 1 hit, struck out 8 and walked 1. In the postgame press conference, the left-hander was reluctant to talk about the outing at length. "It was a nice win in a long season," he said. "I don't want to dwell too much on it." Up to now McCrudden has compiled an ERA of 2.81 with a 5-2 mark over 7 starts.
