Major Injury Threatens Nusz's Career Thursday, July 27th, 2034 It looked bad when it happened during the game. Then, later on, one could tell from the grim faces in the Victoria clubhouse that the team had lost Glen Nusz to a serious injury. Nusz, in fact, had sustained a torn labrum throwing a pitch in yesterday's Totems-Bombers game at Donald J. Trump Presidential Stadium. The starting pitcher's season -- and likely his baseball career -- is over at the age of 21. Up to now Nusz has recorded a record of 0-1. In 6 starts he has fanned 39 batters in 30.2 innings with a 4.99 ERA. |
