Tribbles Garcia and Larvae Caraballo Suspended for Fight Monday, July 17th, 2034 Tempers were flaring yesterday at Classified Field. Both the Tribbles and Larvae were defending their turf. A few punches were thrown, but fortunately very few landed -- there was more wrestling than fighting. When the umpires sorted everything out, Rosewell's Jose Garcia and The Stinging's Ricky Caraballo were ejected from the game. Today the league office suspended Garcia and Caraballo for 3 games each. So far this year Garcia has hit .382 with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 9 runs scored. Thus far this season Caraballo has compiled a 0-0 record, made 8 relief appearances with no saves, hurling 13.1 innings and striking out 19. He has held the opposition to a .333 batting average with a 10.80 ERA. |
