Long Beach's Templeman PFL #1 Batter in March Friday, April 1st, 2033 Ben Templeman is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Long Beach right fielder joined that select company when the Prince Fielder League announced the results of March's voting. Templeman totaled 23 hits, 3 walks, 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and 14 runs scored last month to put together a .404 batting average and .426 on-base percentage. So far this season Templeman is hitting .335 with 11 home runs, 32 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 64 hits in 191 at-bats and a .405 OBP. |
