Sabercats Win Tight Cecil Fielder League Fred McGriff Division Race Monday, March 21st, 2033 It was far from a foregone conclusion, but the Sedona Sabercats are now champions of the Cecil Fielder League Fred McGriff Division. "We battled, day in and day out," said left fielder Bill St.john. "This is one to savor, as it was close right down to the end and that puts a lot of pressure on a team." With a record of 41-29, the Sabercats have officially won their 1st division crown. Manager Edgardo Bautista said there's "a lot of pride and excitement" involved in coming out on top of the Cecil Fielder League Fred McGriff Division. The club will now be looking to win the 1st WINTER ROOKIE LEAGUE championship in franchise history. |
