Hawley Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Friday, March 4th, 2033 The Rockville Rangers stopped the Caribbean Commies today 12-7 and Keith Hawley collected a base hit yet again. The Rockville left fielder finished with 3 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Hawley told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Keith Hawley hit an RBI double in the 1st, walked in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this season Hawley has gotten 52 hits in 117 at-bats for a .444 batting average with 9 home runs. His stats include 29 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has played in 37 games. |
