Wednesday, March 2nd, 2033
Sadao Matsunaga has to call it a season. The Sedona Sabercats reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Rosewell Tribbles and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Matsunaga was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 12 months.
To date, Matsunaga has collected 2 saves in 11 relief appearances. He has rung up 25 strikeouts and 6 walks in 15.2 innings while registering a 3.45 ERA and a 2-3 won-lost record.
