Lumber Loses Vito Herrera for Season Tuesday, February 22nd, 2033 When Vito Herrera was hurt against the Normal Nutcrackers, the Lumber Kings were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 20-year-old starting pitcher suffered a torn rotator cuff throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Herrera would miss 12-13 months of the season. Thus far this season Herrera has posted a 3-3 record, started 6 games, struck out 23 batters in 35.1 innings and compiled a 7.39 ERA. |
