Injury Sidelines Carlos Hernandez For Year Sunday, February 20th, 2033 Carlos Hernandez of the Tribbles just might have to call it quits for the season. The 19-year-old Rosewell starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Yuma Varmits recently at Classified Field. Hernandez suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch. The Tribbles medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 14 months. Hernandez has gone 2-1 this season with an ERA of 2.62 and 47 strikeouts in 44.2 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .231 against him. |
