St.john Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Monday, February 14th, 2033 Bill St.john of the Sedona Sabercats has now hit safely in 20 straight games. He socked 2 hits in today's 4-2 triumph over Normal at The Lair at Sabercat Field. "20 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" St.john said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Bill St.john struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Chris Sanchez in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. So far this season St.john has gotten 48 hits in 140 at-bats for a .343 batting average with 14 home runs. His stats include 34 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has played in 35 games. |
