St. Paul's Gonzalez Will Miss Season Sunday, February 13th, 2033 St. Paul right fielder David Gonzalez could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn back muscle. He exited yesterday's Paradise Island game after injuring himself while running the bases. The original diagnosis said Gonzalez would be out 5 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." Posting a .299 batting average to date, Gonzalez has 2 home runs and 10 RBIs. |
