Portz Too Tough, Blanks Lumber Friday, February 11th, 2033 Ian Portz scattered 4 hits over 9 innings, going the distance in the 1-0 Sedona Sabercats victory over the Lumber Kings at Epic Park. The 21-year-old Portz whiffed 8 and allowed no walks in the game. "Not perfect today, but I'll definitely take it," Portz said later. "I made a couple mistakes but thankfully they didn't get all of them and the guys behind me cleaned things up." Currently Portz has a 4-0 won-lost record in 8 starts with a 4.29 ERA.
