Just ask Juan Duran, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Boca Raton Fighting Iguanas reliever, 20, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .200 average and walked away with the Prince Fielder League Pitcher of the Month award for January. Duran posted a 5-0 mark and a 0.49 ERA in no relief appearances. In 36.2 innings, he had no saves, 36 strikeouts, and 7 walks. |
