Injury Sidelines Danny Stewart for Season Friday, January 28th, 2033 Playoff hopes of Sabercats player Danny Stewart have been dealt a blow today after tests revealed the closer suffered a torn labrum throwing a pitch in today's game against St. Paul Grognards. Stewart is expected to miss up to 8 months, effectively ruling him out of the playoffs. To date Stewart has 7 saves with a 1-0 season record and a 1.98 ERA. He also has made 12 relief appearances, thrown 13.2 innings and struck out 15. |
