The Varmits right fielder banged out 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Predator Park to lead his club past the Paradise Island Pirates. "I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Earl Ott singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Chris Ruffner in the 6th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th.
