Season Over for Allan Morris in St. Paul Thursday, January 20th, 2033 The doctors have spoken and Allan Morris of the St. Paul Grognards didn't like what he heard. The 21-year-old left fielder is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Morris sustained his season-ending injury during the Yuma Varmits game yesterday at The Range. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the St. Paul medical staff reported Morris had a ruptured medial collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 9 months. In this current campaign Morris is hitting at a .283 clip with 5 home runs and 7 RBIs. |
