Pope Week's #1 Player Monday, January 10th, 2033 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Cecil Fielder League, but last week Mike Pope of the Sedona Sabercats reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Pope rocked opposing pitching for a .621 average (18-for-29), 2 home runs and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. |
